Happy Camper is a music project by Job Roggeveen. He composed an album full of sunny chansons with sultry gypsy sounds. But Job is not the only Happy Camper, eleven singers camp with him and perform his songs.

I'm not the girl
Angela McCluskey
I can hear the sound like you're listening You snuck in again and will not let me be
I'm--I'm ready now, to listen,
I'm ready to believe
Summer rain raining through the trees,
and years of heartache settles over me
I'm not the girl that you aked me to be
but here I am parting onto my love,
my love
I can feel the sun breaking through the leaves
I see the moon abroad waiting quietly
And now I'm bound to nothing, ready to be free
Summer rain raining through the trees,
and years of heartache settles over me
I'm not the girl that you aked me to be
but here I am parting onto my love,
my love
I originally heard this track from a Quattro for Women commercial and only after browsing a friend's posts did I identify the title and artist. Angela McCluskey is a Scottish singer-songwriter. She has been featured in several commercials, however her most identifying feat (in my opinion at least) are her collaborations for Télépopmusik. She also recently released a new LP, featured in the last video.
I'm sorry for ever mocking you and your girlish pop songs in the past.
Made by Nick Pittsinger, aka Shamantis, this is 100% authentic. Slowed down by 800%, this originally annoyingly cheery pop song turns into a hybrid of M83 and Sigur Ros and becomes a climactic score fit for a film like Inception.
